Products sold by UNESCO Tour Corporation include sightseeing in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, which was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, and experiencing temple stay at Yongjoosa temple, which is located at Hwaseong-si Gyeonggi-do. In addition. Also this tour includes a one-day class lesson to practice Danso, a Korean traditional musical instrument, with the goal of performing Arirang, which was registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012.
Yongjusa Temple is the original temple of Yung and Geolleung, one of the 40 royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty registered in 2009. It is the second headquarters of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, which has over 80 temples distributed in the southern region of Gyeonggi-do, and is a temple with a long history, cultural assets, and tradition of practice. It is a historic temple that began with Galyangsa Temple, which was founded in the Silla Dynasty (16th year of King Munseong's reign, 854).
This tour will be conducted by a UNESCO Tour Corporation exclusive guide who is a professional Chinese guide, has a tourist interpreter guide license, and is well versed in Western music and Korean traditional music. This is a Foreign Independent Tour (FIT) for individual tourists from Greater China countries (Taiwan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, etc.), and a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 8 people can participate.
This tour lasts for 2 days and 1 night, and is conducted in a 5-seater vehicle provided by the travel agency after meeting at a hotel in Suwon or Suwon Station. If there are more than 5 people, the tour will be conducted in 2 vehicles.
After the schedule is over, the tour ends with a return to the Suwon area hotel or Suwon Station or Suwon Hwaseong Fortress at the customer's request.
